They give the training to all hospital staff from ward boy to doctor. They are doing such a great Village Study – Ramapura
To understand and learn village condition we went to Ramapura village We have group of two members in a team. Myself Niranjankumar and Manjunath. We went to Gram Panchayath and School but it was unfortunate that both were closed and no one was there to collect information. Then we went to Anganawadi there we met teacher of that Anganawadi. She told where the Chairman’s home and told that we will come by 1.15PM. When we went to meet Chairman but that woman was not cooperated to us then we were tensed and we didn’t understand what to do. After that in the evening we got one good family. We stayed there for two day’s. We enjoyed village stay.
Our main objective of the study is
1. To understand village and villagers
2. To collect data
3. To practice PRA tools
About village and villagers
• Main occupation: Agriculture
• Main crops: Sugarcane, paddy, cotton, maize, soya bean.
• Resourceful but facing the main problem with water, electricity.
• More closed to accept new things.
• Common farmer facing the problem of getting seeds from agricultural department.
When we interview some farmers, they told us that there are facing of light load shedding problem. They are getting only 2 to 4 hours full current. For that main reason they can not produce more yield from field.
Youth of that village are not interested to complete their graduation. They are interesting to make more money by working.
