As we are becoming entrepreneur and we are going to start our own organization or we are going to work in any organization. So we need to write our proposal for funding. So this module helps to write proposal.
Logical framework is an analytical, presentation and management tool. It helps us to think purpose of project.LFA should be clear, concise, and logical and systematic way .It helps designer to think what the project is going to achive,what resouses are required, what things to be need to do this project all these things. It helps analysis existing situation and to take potential risks for that. It helps to monitoring and evaluate during the implementation on the project. It is useful for planning and monitoring and evaluation.
LFA describes goal, purpose, outputs and activities all things of our projects. When we are preparing LFA we have to keep all these then we write our project. Goal is beyond project. Goal is long term period. And purpose is that it is particular time what we want to achieve. And what activates we are doing to for that purpose. What outputs will be coming it enlightens. Here we are mentioning how we can measure that and how can we are collecting that all that and also in proposal we writing what are assumption.

They give the training to all hospital staff from ward boy to doctor. They are doing such a great Village Study – Ramapura
To understand and learn village condition we went to Ramapura village We have group of two members in a team. Myself Niranjankumar and Manjunath. We went to Gram Panchayath and School but it was unfortunate that both were closed and no one was there to collect information. Then we went to Anganawadi there we met teacher of that Anganawadi. She told where the Chairman’s home and told that we will come by 1.15PM. When we went to meet Chairman but that woman was not cooperated to us then we were tensed and we didn’t understand what to do. After that in the evening we got one good family. We stayed there for two day’s. We enjoyed village stay.
Our main objective of the study is
1. To understand village and villagers
2. To collect data
3. To practice PRA tools
About village and villagers
• Main occupation: Agriculture
• Main crops: Sugarcane, paddy, cotton, maize, soya bean.
• Resourceful but facing the main problem with water, electricity.
• More closed to accept new things.
• Common farmer facing the problem of getting seeds from agricultural department.
When we interview some farmers, they told us that there are facing of light load shedding problem. They are getting only 2 to 4 hours full current. For that main reason they can not produce more yield from field.
Youth of that village are not interested to complete their graduation. They are interesting to make more money by working.

Agasthya Foundation
We went to visit another organization, which is ‘Agasthya Foundation’. There was science exhibition. Physics, Chemistry and Biology three separate sections are there. They maintain good laboratory. The aim of this organization is to give the knowledge of science to each and every high school of India. There are trained Instructors and they give all information about laboratory. They made some funny experiments. They have separate museum for animal and human study. In chemistry, they showed some organanic and inorganic experiments. Presently this foundation working at Bangalore and Hubli in the Karnataka state. I saw some different types of snakes and some embryo of human which was not developed. I got lot of information about science.
Afternoon 12:3o pm we went to visit ‘Toxic Link’ organization. Project coordinator of this organization is Shri. Sidharaiswami. This organization works on biomedical waste management and mercury disposal management and E-waste (electronic waste management. This organization is working in 12 states. Their target is HDMC hospitals. At first they do survey of hospital, which is KAP survey means knowledge, aptitude and practice. Mercury used in hospital. In thermometer and Spigmameter mercury is there. So if apparatus will break then proper handling of mercury is very dangerous for health worker. For that they should give training. Swami Vivekananda youth Movement (SVYM), is a non religious, non profit, non political organization. Its head office is in Mysore district, Karnataka. Founder of this organization is Dr. Balasubranyam. It is started on 1984 with the help of medical college students. Presently they started “Yes” Project.
Sustainable youth action for education and sanitation (yes) project. The branch of SVYM is in Channabasaweshwar nagar, Dharwad. For the development of Dharwad people, they started many programs. Among them vitamin c program is running to all over Karnataka.
HIV/AIDS awareness program and rain water harvesting program, “Shikshanawahini” education project.
The project duration is 5 years and there are three phases.
First phase for two years, second phase is for two and half years and third phase is for six months.
Objectives:
To build a new civil society in India, through its grass root to policy level action in health, education and community development sector.
Every child should go to school, toilet building program in village as well as urban area, water sanitation program and local area (Dharwad) sustainable development quality education program.
Target groups: Target group of the training program is into two groups.
1. Age of 18-30 years for youth and
2. 6-16 years for children.
Youth activities:
Sanitation activity: In this activity they are showing audio video presentation and street play for both education and sanitation. They are arranging sanitation mela. In this mela they give awareness and importance of sanitation. Toilet construction facility started in villages. They arranged health campus.
While giving training to youth they saw that there were blocks to creativity in youth like, fear of making mistakes, fear of criticism, low self confidence, lack of priority, in appropriate comparisons, not enough time to relax, in adequate sleep and poverty thinking.
SVYM has been working since 25 years for the development of the society. They solved major problems of the youth and created employment for youth. It is acting as a key promoter, facilitator in the community’s efforts towards self reliance and empowerment especially in youths.
Vidya kiran program supports needy students in Mysore district. Students who are intelligent and academically bright but they do not have money to continue their education. To continue their education they are helping. This program is being supported by Asha for education Silicon Valley chapter. If we see the graph of this organization, their graph is increasing day by day.
For any NGO, it is very difficult to run and sustain because raising fund is a big task to survive them. When people have trust on you then, it is easy to raise the funds. But there are many people who believed SVYM and gave money for welfare of the society. People have trust on SVYM and the SVYM also doing well for society.

Samarthanam
we visited Samarthanam organization. They give computer training to handicapped children. This organization is taking care of disabled children. Mahantesh Kewidahal is the founder of this organization. He started samarthanam computer training center for differently able children. He believes in creating opportunity. He gives confidence to them.
At present there are 250 staff working full time. This organization growing very fast. They have fund raising team, they conducted cricket tournaments for disabled. They have cultural team.

Akshaya Patra

Today I visited four Ngo’s. Around 6:45am we went to visit ‘Akshaya Patra’. The Founder of this organization is Mr. Madhusudan Das Pandit. Presently it is working in seven states of India. Main aim of this Organization is no one child away from education because of hunger. They prepare rice, Sambar and Chapatti. For Dharwad dist they give food to one lakh eighty two thousands children. In this organization four hundred employees are working. We saw preparation of cooking. It was very good. First we saw store room. In that they store rice, dhal and oil. Government of India provides them rice. The quality of rice is not good because there are stones, mud, iron and cotton pieces mixed in the rice. They maintain cleaning very well. They have rice cleaning machine and capacity of the machine is 5 to 6 tone for one hour. It separates all iron, stone and mud particles. They cooked rice by steam cooker. One cooker capacity is 100kg and one tone rice cooked within ten minutes.
They have food safety management system. They check quality of the food daily. Only because of machine they cook two lakh meals within five hours. There is special pump made in U.S.
They do not use of fire for cooking. There is Steamer for cooking, it is safety for cooking. When food is ready, they packed it and send it to through vehicle school. They supply food for 800 schools.
Really they are doing such a great job for our country. When I saw this organization suddenly I remember a slogan, ‘Service of a man is service of the God’

I am Niranjankumar.t. I did my post graduation in MSW from Gulbarga University in Bellary. I have two years field work experience in NGO sector that name is Freedom Foundation. I have six months work experience as TOT under ICPRD.
I did project in HR field that name is “A study on implementation and limitation of factory act and labours act”.
In my future I want to start my own Entrepreneurship in my native place. Right now I’m pursuing DFP. It will helps to me lot to start my own Entrepreneurship with professional skills. One thing I would like to tell that I have lots of ideas but I don’t know how to implement in right way.
